INTERIM HOME CARE

In Home Care Professional - Part-Time

Ogden, UT | Weber/Davis County

About the Role

This is a part-time, 1:1 home care position serving a client in the Ogden area. You'll provide personalized, hands-on care in the comfort of the client's home, helping them maintain their independence and quality of life.

Shifts are approximately 2 hours and are consistent, making this a great opportunity for someone looking for reliable part-time work that fits around their schedule.

What You'll Do

  • Light housekeeping including sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and general cleaning
  • Organization and decluttering of living spaces
  • Laundry and linen changes as needed
  • Meal preparation and light kitchen cleanup
  • Provide companionship and emotional support
  • Assist with personal hygiene and activities of daily living as needed
  • Communicate any changes in the client's condition or environment to the care team promptly

Qualifications

  • Must be at least 18 years of age
  • Valid driver's license and current auto insurance required
  • Must be able to pass a DACS background check
  • Prior experience as a care professional or in a related role preferred
  • A calm, patient, and professional demeanor
  • Someone who takes initiative - you don't wait to be told what needs to be done
  • Creative problem-solver who can adapt to the unique needs of each client
  • Dependable and reliable - our clients count on you showing up
  • Strong communication skills and ability to report changes in client condition promptly

Compensation & Benefits

  • $20-$25/hour depending on client and assignment
  • Mileage reimbursement at the federal rate when a personal vehicle is used during a visit
  • Flexible, part-time scheduling
