Are you passionate about helping others? Whether you're experienced or just starting out, we invite you to explore opportunities within our team & help support elderly customers (65+) to live independently at home.
Do you meet these minimum requirements?
- Live in or near Reservoir including surrounding suburbs Bellfield, Clifton Hill, Eaglemont, Fitzroy, Heidelberg, Ivanhoe, Northcote, Preston or Thornbury.
- Hold a current Australian Drivers' Licence with your own comprehensively insured car (sorry, we cannot accept international license's or shared/rental vehicles)
- Have 3+ months industry experience in a paid Aged Care setting
- Available to work a minimum of 6 hours a day between 8am to 6pm, Monday to Friday
- Commitment to our paid 2-week Brilliant @ Basics Training when you start! (Get ready to learn, grow & be supported!) Travel is required for training.
- Know this is NOT a vacancy for Disability or to work in a facility/nursing home
- If you speak a 2nd language such as Arabic or Italian we would love to hear from you although this is not an essential requirement of the role.

What this role offers:
- Open to Experienced candidates
- Permanent Part-Time or Casual Contracts
- Permanent Contract hours: 30 hours per fortnight + flex up hours.
- Hourly Rate: $34.77 - $34.93 per hour + 12% super + $0.92/km allowance + paid travel time
What You'll Be Doing:
- Provide domestic assistance, such as cleaning, vacuuming, laundry, and meal preparation.
- Provide personal care services including showering, toileting, assistance with medications, as well as domestic duties & social supports such as assisting with transportation for clients.
- Most importantly: be a friendly face & brighten someone's day!
As a valued team member, you'll provide compassionate care and support to clients in their homes. Domestic assistance will form a significant part of your role - this applies to both our entry-level and experienced carers. From helping with household tasks to offering personal support, you'll make a real difference in people's lives every day.
