Melrose Park View Place is looking for a dedicated and compassionate Home Health Aide to join our team. As a Home Health Aide, you will provide personalized care and support to our patients in their homes, helping them maintain their independence and improve their quality of life. Key Responsibilities:
- Assist patients with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility.
- Support patients with medication reminders and light household tasks.
- Observe and report changes in patients’ physical or emotional condition.
- Provide emotional support and companionship to patients.
- Maintain documentation of care provided in accordance with agency guidelines.
- Adhere to safety and infection control protocols
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
- Previous experience in home health care or as a Home Health Aide is an advantage.
- Compassionate, patient-focused, and reliable.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and follow established care plans.
- Current or willingness to obtain Home Health Aide certification preferred.
- Dependable transportation for traveling to patient homes.
