Job Description

Trustbridge Hospice, a member of Empath Health, is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to provide in-home care to our patients across Broward and southern Palm Beach counties. What you'll Do

As a CNA on our hospice team, you will deliver high-quality, compassionate care under the guidance of a Registered Nurse (RN) or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN):

  • Provide direct and indirect care to patients in home and community-based settings
  • Assist patients with activities of daily living (ADLs), including personal hygiene, mobility, and comfort measures
  • Support a clean, safe, and nurturing environment for each patient
  • Offer emotional support to patients and their families, fostering dignity and compassion at every interaction
  • Help educate patients and families on maintaining independence safely within their environment
  • Address patient and family concerns promptly and effectively to ensure satisfaction and peace of mind

What You'll Need

  • Current license to practice as a Certified Nursing Assistant in the State of Florida.
  • Current Basic Life Support Certification.
  • Six months' experience working in hospital or healthcare environment is preferred.
  • Must be willing to accept direction and supervision.
  • Requires ability to drive, a reliable car, a good driving record, automobile insurance and basic knowledge of the county territory.
  • Must be able to work comfortably with professionals and volunteers.
  • Must be able to fulfill assigned tasks effectively and efficiently.
  • Must practice good personal hygiene and be neat and clean in appearance.
  • Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus
