Location: Durham/Charleston/CharlotteThe Healthcare Systems Business Specialist has multiple responsibilities around thepromotion of Client products and resources to a variety of stakeholders withinHealthcare Systems and Hospitals, such as Doctors, Nurses, Pharmacists, HospitalAdministrators, Discharge Planners, and Buyers. Educating customers oncharacteristics, indicated treatments related to assigned promoted products.Professionally represent Client in the field and/or virtually to ensure high levels ofvisibility and customer satisfaction.The Hospital / Healthcare Systems Business Specialist plays an important role inestablishing effective communications and relationships with key external and internalcustomers within Healthcare Systems.The RoleThis is a full or part-time position (20-40 hrs.) paid at an hourly rateAchieve territory sales goals by promoting Client products and services to physiciansand other medical personnel within assigned geography. Educate customers on theuse, characteristics, advantages, indicated treatments and all other developmentsrelated to the promoted product. Professionally represent Client in the field and/orvirtually to ensure high levels of visibility and customer satisfaction in territory. Maintaineffective communication and relationships with key external and internal customers.Primary Responsibilities:The primary responsibility of the Healthcare Systems Business Specialist isstrategic account / hospital selling and engaging key stakeholders within complexhealthcare systems, such as the Healthcare Providers and support staff, ServiceLine Managers, Clinical & Specialty Pharmacists, Fellows, Hospitalists, andTransition of Care Coordinators, to achieve sales objectives for the assigned anti-infective product.The primary responsibility of the Healthcare Systems Business Specialist isstrategic account selling and engaging key stakeholders within complexhealthcare systems to achieve sales objectives for our product,Develop expertise and understanding of Healthcare Systems, market dynamics,stakeholder mapping, inpatient/outpatient network navigation. This includesdeveloping and executing Strategic Key Account Plans, providing accountstrategies.Demonstrate ability to quickly learn and embrace new ways of working in arapidly changing environment.
Proactively identify business opportunities to drive and develop business.Overcome obstacles to access difficult to see healthcare providers andcustomers.Accountable for establishing working relationships with a broad base ofstakeholders to promote and educate on the use of Client products throughone-on-one meetings, presentations, speaker programs and other appropriatemeans.Collaborate and align efforts with internal Client stakeholders to engage withkey healthcare systems including compliant partnership with other sales teams,
medical, and market access teams
Responsible for accurately reporting sales activities, testing, territory expensesand submitting written reports as necessary by the deadline set forth as definedby company expectations.Appropriately manage and maintain all company equipment and promotionalmaterials (company literature, materials, etc.) according to necessary companyguidelinesAttend all company-sponsored sales and medical meetings as directed bycompany management (POA's, National Sales Meetings, Regional and LocalConventions, etc.)Quantitative Dimensions:This position is responsible for contributing to the National Sales Goal.
