What Youll Do: As a Hospital Pharmacist, you will be responsible for preparing and dispensing medications, ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations, and providing expert advice to healthcare professionals. Your expertise will support safe, effective medication use and contribute directly to patient well-being in a busy hospital setting.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- AR Pharmacy License is mandatory*
- Bachelors Degree in Pharmacy or related field*
- Preference given to candidates with 2+ years of hospital experience*
- Strong attention to detail and excellent communication skills*
- Ability to work effectively within a team and handle multiple priorities
Nice to Have Skills:
- Experience with hospital Electronic Medical Records (EMR) systems*
- Knowledge of medication safety protocols and pharmacy regulations*
- Previous experience with rotating weekends or flexible shifts
Preferred Education and Experience:
- Bachelors Degree in Pharmacy (BA or higher preferred)*
- At least 2 years of hospital pharmacy experience, though entry-level candidates with relevant training may be considered
Other Requirements:
- Must hold an active AR Pharmacy License*
- Available to work the designated day shift (8 a.m. 6 p.m.) with a 4-day workweek (4x10 hours)*
- Willingness to work every third weekend on a rotating schedule*
- No relocation or housing benefits offered, but comprehensive orientation will be provided
