Hospitalist opportunity in Rio Rancho, NM

Great opportunity to join a well-established team of 27 physicians and 4 advanced practitioners at our Rio Rancho location. Our team comprises clinicians from diverse geographic, educational, and training backgrounds. As a smaller community hospital, we work closely with our hospital partners to make meaningful changes.

Position Highlights:

Hospitalists do respond to codes but are not part of the Rapid Response team.
Procedures that are required:
- Paracentesis (2 per month)
- Lumbar puncture (usually less than one per month)
- Thoracenteses, small bore chest tube (2 per month. But we can always consult a Pulmonologist for this).

Qualifications:

Board certified/eligible in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine.
Active medical license or eligible to become licensed in New Mexico.
Authorized to work in the United States.
New graduates are encouraged to apply.
