War Memorial Hospital is seeking an experienced Hospitalist Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join its inpatient Hospital Medicine team in beautiful Berkeley Springs, West Virginia.

This opportunity offers a low-volume inpatient setting, onsite APP coverage during the day, and 24-hour physician tele-coverage, providing a collaborative model designed to support high-quality patient care.

Your Role

As a Hospitalist Nurse Practitioner, you will provide inpatient Hospital Medicine coverage during the 7:00 AM–7:00 PM shift while working within a physician-supported care model.

The position is well suited for an experienced APP who is comfortable managing hospitalized patients and working independently while collaborating with physicians through onsite and telemedicine support.

Education

  • FNP, AGACNP, or ACNP

Experience

  • Minimum 2 years of Hospital Medicine experience

Licensure

  • Active West Virginia NP license
  • DEA required

Certifications

  • BLS required
  • ACLS required
