Job Description

An integrated, non-profit health system with a proud 100-year history as an innovator in healthcare delivery in southern Vermont is adding a Hospitalist Medical Director. They offer a great culture and collaborative team environment. The health system comprises a 99-bed hospital and 25 primary care and specialty practices, located at nine sites in southern Vermont, as well as in nearby New York and Massachusetts. Close to 1,400 employees serve 75,000 patients through the partnership with Dartmouth Health.

About the Opportunity:

Experienced team of Hospital Medicine physicians and advanced practice providers with strong, collegial relationships with emergency medicine, surgical, and medical specialties, and nursing staff
Supportive administration, focused on quality care and physician well-being
Open ICU with 24-hour tele-ICU backup coverage
No procedures, except for occasional vent management with the assistance of tele-ICU if needed
10 Hospital Medicine Physicians on staff, along with 2 Advanced Practice Providers

Financial Package:

$50k signing bonus
Salary in mid-300k range
$10k relocation assistance
Complete benefits package
