We’re looking for a friendly and professional Host to join our team and help provide an exceptional dining experience for all of our guests.
Job Overview:As a Host, you will be the first point of contact for our guests. Your role is crucial in creating a positive first impression, managing reservations, and ensuring that our guests have a smooth and enjoyable dining experience. You’ll work closely with the restaurant team to maintain an organized, efficient, and welcoming front-of-house environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Greet guests warmly upon arrival and ensure a positive first impression.
- Manage reservations and seating arrangements, ensuring timely and efficient seating.
- Assist guests with waiting lists and provide accurate wait time estimates.
- Maintain a clean and organized front-of-house area.
- Answer phones, take reservations, and handle guest inquiries in a courteous and professional manner.
- Communicate effectively with servers, kitchen staff, and management to ensure smooth service.
- Assist with guest needs during their visit, including special requests or accommodations.
- Monitor the flow of guests and ensure optimal seating efficiency.
- Provide guests with menus and inform them of daily specials or promotions.
- Handle payment processing when necessary and ensure guests leave with a positive impression.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in a customer service or hospitality role preferred, but not required.
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate clearly and professionally.
- Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
- A positive attitude, strong work ethic, and a passion for delivering great service.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends.
- Knowledge of Italian cuisine is a plus.
