Job Description: We are seeking a personable and organized Host/Hostess to join our esteemed team. The ideal candidate will be the first point of contact for our guests, setting the tone for an exquisite dining experience. Your primary responsibility will be to welcome guests warmly, manage reservations, and ensure seamless seating arrangements in our fine dining setting.
Responsibilities:
- Greet guests upon arrival with a warm and friendly demeanor.
- Manage reservations and walk-in guests efficiently to optimize seating arrangements.
- Escort guests to their tables, providing menus and introducing them to their server.
- Maintain an organized waiting area, providing accurate wait times when necessary.
- Assist in coordinating special seating requests and accommodating guest preferences.
- Communicate effectively with the kitchen and service staff to ensure smooth operations.
- Handle guest inquiries and concerns promptly and professionally.
- Uphold WeVINO's standards of excellence in customer service and hospitality.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience as a host/hostess in a fine dining or upscale restaurant is preferred.
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills.
- Strong organizational abilities and attention to detail.
- Ability to remain calm and composed under pressure.
- Professional appearance and demeanor.
- Proficiency in reservation management systems is a plus.
- Flexible availability, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
