The best ones are written by leaders who understand their market,build real relationships, and know how to turn strategy into revenue.A branded 121-room Extended Stay Hotel located in the North Austin Domain Arboretumsubmarket is seeking a Director of Sales who is ready to take ownership of growth, visibility,and long-term performance. This is not a maintenance role - it is a proactive leadershipposition designed for someone who thrives in a competitive market and understands howextended stay wins business differently.
This Director of Sales will play a central role in shaping the hotel's presence across Austin'scorporate, technology, medical, and project-based travel segments while partnering closelywith operations and revenue leadership to protect ADR and drive RevPAR performance.
• Pathfinder Talent Solutions operates as the talent strategy and recruiting division of Pathfinder• Hospitality, a Texas-based hotel management company known for transforming properties, and• the teams behind them. With a growing portfolio of branded and independent hotels,• Pathfinder Hospitality focuses on operational performance, revenue growth, and building• cultures where both internal and external guests come first.
• This opportunity represents a branded Extended Stay hotel located in one of Austin's most• active corporate corridors. The ownership group is focused on strengthening market share,• expanding negotiated accounts, and building a sustainable revenue pipeline in a competitive• extended stay environment. The Director of Sales will be highly visible in the market, driving• relationships that translate into long-term production and positioning the hotel as a preferred• partner for corporate and project-based stays.
Compensation- Base Salary: $80,000 - $100,000 annually- Performance-based bonus structure- Total earning potential aligned with production growth and hotel performance
What You Will Own
- Development of new corporate and project-based extended stay accounts- Expansion of long-term stay business across key industries- Local negotiated rate strategy and RFP management- Market visibility and community engagement in North Austin- Strategic partnership with revenue leadership to protect ADR and drive RevPAR- Building and maintaining strong relationships within Austin's corporate ecosystem
Key Responsibilities
- Identify and secure new business opportunities aligned with Extended Stay demanddrivers- Develop and execute local sales action plans focused on measurable revenue growth- Maintain strong presence within the Domain Arboretum business community- Collaborate cross-functionally with operations and revenue management- Track performance metrics and adjust strategy to maximize market share- Represent the hotel professionally at networking events and industry functions
Who You Are
- Current or recent Hotel Director of Sales or high-performing Senior Sales Manager- Active knowledge of the Austin market and extended stay segment- Strong local corporate contacts with a proven hunter mentality- Strategic thinker who also enjoys prospecting and closing- Relationship-driven with a strong sense of ownership and accountability
