- Provide overall leadership of the hotel including front desk, housekeeping, food & beverage, maintenance, and sales teams.
- Maintain high guest satisfaction and brand standards while fostering a culture focused on service excellence and accountability.
- Conduct regular property inspections to ensure operational and brand compliance.
- Oversee Legends Bar & Grill and banquet/event operations.
- Ensure high-quality food and beverage service while managing cost controls, labor efficiency, and inventory management.
- Develop strategies to grow local dining and banquet business within the Mankato community.
- Partner with the Sales team to implement aggressive sales and marketing strategies that drive occupancy, ADR, and event revenue.
- Build relationships with local businesses, organizations, and community leaders to generate group business and events.
- Work closely with the Revenue Management team on pricing strategy and forecasting.
- Develop and manage annual operating and capital budgets.
- Analyze financial performance and implement strategies to maximize profitability.
- Maintain strong internal financial controls and operational discipline.
- Recruit, develop, and retain high-performing hospitality professionals.
- Provide ongoing coaching, performance management, and leadership development.
- Foster a positive and engaged workplace culture.
- Ensure compliance with brand standards, safety procedures, and health regulations.
- Work with Human Resources on employee relations, compliance, and workforce management.
- 3–5+ years of Hotel General Manager or Assistant General Manager experience
- Full-service hotel experience strongly preferred
- Experience overseeing food & beverage and banquet operations
- Strong knowledge of hotel financials, budgeting, and P&L management
- Proven ability to drive revenue growth and operational performance
- Strong leadership, communication, and team development skills
- Degree in hospitality, business, or related field preferred
- Salary: $80,000 – $90,000 DOE
