Hotel General Manager

Are you a seasoned hospitality leader ready to take the next step in your career? We're seeking a dynamic General Manager to lead our hotel property in Starkville, MS. This hotel is newly acquired by the Sunray Companies, an award-winning franchise operator and investment company based in Madison, MS. With each business we operate, the Sunray Companies strives to enhance the lives of our guests and one another with every interaction.

In this role, you'll do more than oversee daily operations - you'll shape the culture, drive performance, and elevate our hotel's reputation. With the full support of our leadership team and tailored mentorship, you'll have the resources and autonomy to succeed and grow.

Responsibilities

Lead all aspects of daily hotel operations with a focus on exceptional guest service
Recruit, inspire, and develop a high-performing team
Drive revenue growth while managing expenses and maintaining quality standards
Build community partnerships and represent the hotel locally
Ensure compliance with brand standards, policies, and local regulations

Qualifications

5+ years of hospitality or customer-focused management experience
Proven success leading teams and delivering strong operational results
Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills
Comfortable working with data, systems, and Microsoft Office
A genuine passion for hospitality, leadership, and community engagement

Compensation & Benefits
