Job Description
Duties
- Clean and service guest rooms according to hotel standards, including making beds, dusting, vacuuming, and replenishing supplies
- Perform floor care tasks such as mopping and carpet cleaning to maintain cleanliness and safety
- Ensure all public areas, hallways, and lobbies are tidy and well-maintained
- Handle laundry duties including washing, folding, and organizing linens and towels
- Report maintenance issues or safety hazards promptly to management
- Follow health and safety protocols to ensure a safe environment for guests and staff
- Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment, requesting replenishments as needed
- Adhere to hotel policies regarding guest privacy and confidentiality
Experience
- Previous experience in hotel housekeeping or custodial roles is preferred but not mandatory; training will be provided for the right candidate
- Skills in cleaning, floor care, industrial cleaning, or janitorial services are advantageous
- Experience with hospitality operations or housekeeping management is a plus
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to work efficiently independently or as part of a team
- Knowledge of cleaning chemicals and proper usage procedures is beneficial
