Job Description

The Washington House Hotel is looking for a dependable, detail-oriented team member to join our housekeeping and guest services team. Responsibilities:

Prepare and deliver breakfast orders to hotel guests.
Answer front desk phone for in-house guest request and incoming calls; take reservations.
Clean and sanitize hotel rooms after guest departure.
Provide daily housekeeping service to stay-over guests according to their requests.
Clean and sanitize common areas.
Remove dirty dishes, trash and soiled linens from rooms and linen closets.
Perform deep cleaning jobs as needed.

Requirements:

Pennsylvania law requires employees to be at least 18 years or older to handle alcohol
Comfortable lifting and carrying heavy linen bags, dishes and trash
Comfortable using stairs
Submit to a background check and drug test
Reliable transportation to & from work
Part-time: approximately 10–20 hours per week
Weekend availability may be required

Compensation: $12.00 per hour
