Join our dynamic hospitality team as a Hotel Front Desk Clerk, where you will be the welcoming face of our hotel, ensuring every guest experience is exceptional from check-in to check-out. Duties:
- Greet guests warmly upon arrival, providing excellent customer service and personalized assistance.
- Manage hotel reservations using property management systems (PMS) such as SynXis Property Hub or similar platforms, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
- Handle guest inquiries via phone and in person, offering prompt solutions and information about hotel amenities and local attractions.
- Check guests in and out swiftly while maintaining professional phone etiquette and communication standards.
- Assist with night audit procedures, balancing accounts and preparing reports to ensure financial accuracy.
- Enforce hotel emergency procedures, including safety protocols and guest safety measures during incidents or evacuations
- Coordinate with housekeeping, maintenance, and other departments to fulfill guest requests and resolve issues promptly.
- Maintain detailed records of guest interactions, reservations, and incidents to support property management systems (PMS) documentation.
Skills:
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to problem-solve efficiently while maintaining a positive attitude
- Multilingual or bilingual abilities are highly desirable to serve diverse guests effectively
- Experience with hospitality management software such as SynXis Property Hub or other property management systems (PMS) is preferred
- Knowledge of front desk operations within hotel management environments, including reservation handling and guest relations
- Familiarity with hotel emergency procedures and safety protocols to ensure guest well-being at all times
- Excellent phone communication skills coupled with professional phone etiquette for handling inquiries and reservations
- Proven ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously in a fast-paced hospitality setting
- Resort experience or background in hotel experience enhances your ability to deliver exceptional guest services
