Job Description
Welcome to Lafrance Hospitality and New Bedford Harbor Hotel!
We are looking for a dynamic, detail-oriented Full-Time Sales Coordinator / Front Desk Agent to join our team at New Bedford Harbor Hotel. This dual function role is perfect for a hospitality professional who enjoys the energy of the front desk but also has a passion for the strategic side of sales.
As the primary point of contact for our guests and clients, you will play a crucial role in delivering exceptional service while supporting our sales department in driving revenue and managing group business. If you are a multitasking pro with a "guest-first" attitude and a desire to grow into hotel sales management, we want you on our team!
Responsibilities:
- Maintain a warm, welcoming and professional demeanor while interacting with all guests and clients while working in both positions.
- Check guests in and out of the hotel, ensure proper payment is received, special requests are noted and fulfilled, with accurate information is recorded.
- Effectively address and resolve guest problems to increase guest satisfaction.
- Sell and coordinate bookings for all market segments.
- Maintain an accurate Sales System.
- Prepare contracts and proposals while overseeing payments.
- Records and files all correspondence for easy retrieval.
- Responds to telephone inquiries regarding hotel availability, quoting established group rates and assisting in overall business growth.
- Provides weekly reports to necessary departments regarding upcoming scheduled events and hotel needs.
- Coordinate and conduct site tours emphasizing features to meet client needs and opportunities to enhance overall satisfaction.
- Effectively communicates with all hotel departments on sales and client needs.
Pay: $18.00 - $22.00 Per Hour
Shift: Flexible schedule

Requirements
- Prior hotel experience 1-2 years
- Position is on site
- Detail-oriented with excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Flexibility to work a variety of shifts
- Ability to meet one-on-one with clients
- Prior sales experience is not necessary but would be beneficial
