Hotel Sales Manager – Lexington, KY
JOB SUMMARY:
Lexington Hotel Group is seeking a relationship-focused, results-oriented Hotel Sales Manager to join the team at Home2 Suites Lexington University/Medical Center. This role is responsible for leading the property's sales initiatives through proactive outreach, strategic relationship building, and revenue-driven planning. The ideal candidate is a collaborative leader who thrives in a fast-paced environment, builds strong internal and external partnerships, and demonstrates exceptional attention to detail to ensure seamless communication and execution.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Drive revenue growth across all market segments through strategic prospecting and relationship development.
- Identify and secure new corporate negotiated, local group, and transient accounts.
- Stay current with industry trends and competitive market intelligence.
- Collaboratively achieve 100% or more of total hotel room revenue goals, including group and corporate negotiated targets, through strategic ADR and occupancy management.
- Proactively prospect new and existing business opportunities proactively through weekly appointments, cold calls, referrals, front desk arrivals, networking, internet prospecting and sales blitzes.
- Develop creative sales initiatives to penetrate new business segments.
- Communicate effectively to both internal and external customers.
- Maintain accurate forecasting and reporting within Salesforce and brand systems.
- Learn and utilize required software systems for tracking, reserving and reporting including Word, Excel and Salesforce.
- Collaborate in weekly revenue strategy meetings to optimize ADR, occupancy, and overall RevPAR performance.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Minimum of 3 years hotel sales experience
- Minimum of High School Diploma or GED
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook); experience with Salesforce preferred
- Bachelor's Degree in related field preferred
- Valid Driver's license, acceptable driving record and insured vehicle
- Ability to travel locally to existing and potential clients required
- Other travel as necessary
