Job Description
The Hotel Sales Manager's primary responsibility is to generate group business via direct marketing, social media, cold calls, and networking. The ideal candidate will be driven, ambitious, and motivated to meet and exceed sales goals. This is a wonderful opportunity for a seasoned sales professional or someone wanting to break into the sales industry. Our newly renovated property is easy to market and is ready to reintroduce to potential guests.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Prospect for new business through solicitation, networking, and cold calling.
- Improve hotel visibility by conducting outside sales calls, attending trade shows and market segment-related events
- Create marketing promotions and campaigns involving direct mail, social media, ads, etc.
- Meet or exceed established monthly, quarterly, and annual targeted sales goals and profit margins.
- Maintain an active list of accounts to ensure continuous relationship development
- Meet regularly with the Director of Sales to develop and execute monthly focused and aggressive action plans
- Communicate with business partners on upcoming group needs, VIP clients, and meeting functions.
- Maintain and grow repeat business through client satisfaction and loyalty.
- Maintain knowledge of industry and trends in the market, particularly amongst competitors.
