Job Description
Medical Edge Recruitment has an immediate opening for an House Keeper in Las Cruse NMDetails:
- Specialty: Hospital*
- Location: Las Cruces, NM *
- Facility Type: Acute*
- Pay Rate: $18- $ 720 weekly *
- Contract Length: 13 weeks *
- Shift/Hours: 8 hour shift
- Perform routine cleaning of patient rooms, offices, restrooms, hallways, and public areas.*
- Vacuum, dust, sweep, mop floors, and remove trash from designated areas.*
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of assigned work areas and supply closets.*
- Ensure cleaning supplies and equipment are stored safely when not in use and kept out of patients' reach during use.*
- Replenish facility supplies, including paper products, soap, and other housekeeping items as needed.*
- Ensure adequate linen inventory is maintained on units and throughout the facility.*
- Observe and promptly report any unsafe conditions or situations that may affect the health, safety, or well-being of patients, visitors, or employees.*
- Assist in maintaining a safe and risk-preventive environment throughout the facility.*
- Follow established infection prevention and control procedures.*
- Comply with OSHA regulations and all Safety and Risk Management policies, procedures, and guidelines.*
- Utilize cleaning equipment and chemicals in a safe and effective manner.*
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Previous housekeeping, janitorial, environmental services, or healthcare cleaning experience preferred.
- Knowledge of proper cleaning and sanitation procedures.*
- Ability to follow instructions and work independently.*
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness.*
- Good communication and observation skills.*
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and professionalism in a healthcare environment.
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, lift, push, and pull throughout the workday.*
- Ability to lift and carry up to 25 pounds or more as required.
