We're a family of five living in Atlanta - two professionals balancing demanding careers with the joys and chaos of raising three energetic kids. Between work responsibilities, school pickups, sports schedules, and the never-ending stream of permission slips and Venmo requests, we've reached a point where we want to be more present for what matters most: quality time with our children, our meaningful work, and taking care of ourselves.

We're looking for a trusted partner who enjoys bringing order to busy environments, takes pride in helping a household run smoothly, and finds satisfaction in checking things off a list. We have an afternoon nanny we adore who focuses on childcare, and we're now ready to bring on a House Manager who can take ownership of the household operations that keep our home running smoothly. You're the kind of person who sees a messy playroom and immediately envisions how it could function better. You're calm under pressure, especially in the morning rush with three kids who move at their own pace. You're efficient and focused, not easily distracted, and you take pride in knocking tasks off a list and seeing tangible results at the end of your day.

You understand that working in a home with young children means adaptability - you read the room, adjust your energy to match the moment, and know when to engage warmly with the kids and when to stay quietly productive in the background. You don't need daily check-ins or constant feedback to feel confident in your work. You're the type who thrives with autonomy, appreciates clear expectations, and brings a professional yet approachable presence to the household.

Experience with children and managing morning routines is essential. You're organized by nature, you communicate clearly when needed, and you genuinely enjoy the satisfaction of a well-run home. Above all, you bring a steady, grounded energy that helps our household feel less chaotic and more intentional.

Key Responsibilities

Family Support

  • Manage morning routine for three children, getting them ready & out the door for school
  • Provide occasional school drop-offs using family vehicle
  • Prepare backpacks, clothing, and snacks
  • Serve as backup childcare 
  • Provide occasional date night coverage

Household Organization & Maintenance

  • Create and maintain organizational systems throughout the home
  • Daily resets and prep home for cleaners (1x every few months)
  • Light tidying (dishes, surfaces, vacuum high-traffic areas)
  • Coordinate with house cleaners and be present during their visits
  • Complete seasonal clothing swaps
  • Prepare and coordinate donation drop-offs
  • Maintain household systems: change batteries, light bulbs, check smoke detectors
  • Handle small repairs and fixes (example: replacing batteries in toys)
  • Select and maintain indoor plants
  • Packing/unpacking for travel
  • Holiday prep

Meal Support

  • Prepare HelloFresh meals 3x per week
  • Wash, cut, and prep produce
  • Pack school lunches daily
  • Kitchen cleanup and maintenance
  • Manage Instacart orders, HelloFresh subscription, & grocery shopping in person

Inventory & Errands

  • Restock pantry, fridge, and household supplies
  • Manage running household supply lists
  • Manage household orders and subscriptions (Instacart/Amazon/Costco/Target)
  • Returns, dry cleaning, gift shopping
  • Redeem credit card benefits requiring in-person pickup
  • Mail and package handling
  • Break down boxes
  • Library book returns

Laundry & Linens

  • Wash, fold, and organize laundry for entire household
  • Linen rotation
  • Maintain tidy and well-stocked laundry area

Vehicle Upkeep

  • Schedule and attend maintenance appointments
  • Fuel, clean, and organize family vehicle weekly
  • Restock vehicle supplies (snacks, tissues)
  • Vacuum floors and car seats
  • Track registration and insurance renewals
  • Replace air fresheners

Deep Cleaning & Special Projects

  • Occasional deep cleans: fridge, oven, baseboards, ceiling fans
  • Refresh zones throughout the house (garage, mudroom, entry areas, playroom)
  • Appliance maintenance: clean dishwasher, washing machine, descale coffee maker
  • Change air filters
  • Refresh and organize cupboards (Tupperware, glassware)
  • Declutter and remove expired items (markers, spices, old belongings)
  • Exterior holiday decorations (Halloween, Christmas lights)
  • Calendar management and administrative support
  • Manage sign-up geniuses for sports and school
  • Process Venmo payments for sports/school activities
  • Replace household items: Brita filters, soap dispensers, screen protectors

Administrative & Personal Assistant Support

  • Travel planning and logistics
  • Pay medical bills
  • Calendar management (including household schedules)
  • Receipt/budget tracking - reimbursement, house manager

Vendor & Property Oversight

  • Research and coordinate repairs and quotes
  • Seasonal property maintenance
  • Manage outdoor spaces
  • Oversee cleaners and contractors
