About Our Family

We are an active, down-to-earth family of four living in the Linden Hills neighborhood of Minneapolis. Our two boys, ages 8 and 6, are energetic, independent, and involved in school, sports, outdoor play, and neighborhood activities. Life in our home is full in the best way — hockey practices, gymnastics, bike rides, family dinners, and busy work schedules all happening at once. We value healthy living, kindness, simplicity, and creating a calm, organized home where everyone can enjoy life a little more.

Both parents work full-time in demanding yet flexible careers that occasionally require travel. We already have a strong support system in place, including nearby family and household vendors for cleaning, lawn care, and snow removal, but we've realized that having the right additional support at home would give our family more breathing room and allow us to be more present with our kids and personal interests outside of work.

Our home is warm, informal, and relationship-driven, and we're looking for someone who can naturally become part of the rhythm of our household. The ideal fit is proactive, personable, organized, and comfortable taking ownership without needing constant direction. We value someone who notices what would make the week run more smoothly, communicates openly, and genuinely enjoys helping an active family stay organized, cared for, and running well behind the scenes.

Who You Are / What We're Looking For

  • Proactive and self-directed — you naturally notice what needs attention and take initiative without needing constant oversight.
  • Organized and resourceful — you enjoy creating order, keeping systems running smoothly, and finding practical solutions to everyday household needs.
  • Warm, personable, and low-key — you're friendly and engaging, while also respectful of family space and comfortable working independently.
  • Adaptable and team-oriented — you're happy jumping between a variety of responsibilities, from school pickups and errands to meal prep, laundry, tidying, and household organization.
  • Comfortable communicating openly — you ask thoughtful questions when needed, keep everyone informed, and appreciate clarity and collaboration.
  • Reliable and consistent — you take pride in following through, being dependable, and helping create a calm, well-run home environment.
  • Looking for meaningful, long-term work — you genuinely enjoy supporting families and find fulfillment in making everyday life easier and more manageable behind the scenes.
