About Our Family

We are a warm, fun-loving family seeking a caring and dependable House Manager & Family Assistant in a Mother's Helper–style role. Our household includes two parents and a 5-year-old child with Down Syndrome. He is bright, communicative, and joyful, with developing speech and motor skills. He loves books, laughter, outdoor walks, watching cars go by, and spending time on the backyard swing.

The home environment is loving, values-driven, and highly involved. One parent is typically home during working hours, and this role is designed to provide meaningful partnership and support rather than independent solo care. The family coordinates in-home and in-office services, therapies, and routines.

Who You Are / What We're Looking For

You are a capable, dependable, and warm professional who genuinely enjoys children and supporting a household well. You are comfortable both leading and following, collaborative by nature, and able to work seamlessly alongside parents, therapists, and other helpers.

You don't mind rolling up your sleeves and getting your hands dirty — literally and metaphorically. You bring excellent attention to detail and follow-through, paired with flexible, outside-the-box thinking. You are patient, thoughtful, and willing to do things in ways that are safest and most helpful for the family, even when that requires more effort and intention than the easiest option.

You bring good judgment, authentic enjoyment of children, and a calm, gentle demeanor with the child — paired with a confident, detail-oriented approach when interacting with vendors or managing logistics. You communicate professionally, respect confidentiality, and are dependable and trustworthy. Above all, you show up with care, presence, and consistency.
