About Our Family

We are a busy, dynamic family of six, where both parents have demanding careers—one works from home while the other commutes to New York City daily. Our household includes four children (ages 16, 15, 13, and 10), and we have two goldendoodles who are friendly and full of energy. Despite our busy professional lives, we prioritize spending quality time together and are looking for someone who can help us streamline household operations to give us more quality time as a family. Our home is bustling with activity, from school schedules to after-school sports, and we need support in maintaining a structured, organized environment. We enjoy having a warm, welcoming home, but with everyone's schedules, it can be challenging to keep everything running smoothly.

We're hoping to find someone who can help take the load off, managing the day-to-day tasks like cleaning, organizing, meal prep, managing vendors, and handling general household needs. We need someone who can manage these tasks independently, ensuring everything stays organized and well-maintained, from the kitchen to the mud room to schedule oversight. We value a balance of professionalism and warmth, where you can integrate into our family life while maintaining communication and a can-do attitude.

Who You Are / What We're Looking For

You are a self-starter who thrives in an environment where you can take initiative and manage multiple tasks without constant direction. We're looking for someone who is organized, detail-oriented, and proactive, with a strong project manager mentality. You will be a critical partner in helping our family stay on track, whether it's managing our home's organization systems, handling meal prep, or ensuring the smooth coordination of daily tasks. Your communication style is open and collaborative—you are comfortable taking the lead when necessary but also know when to ask for clarification to ensure things are done to the family's needs and expectations.

We value a person who is friendly, patient, and able to handle the everyday chaos of a busy household. The right candidate will be professional but warm, with the ability to balance family dynamics and maintain boundaries. You should be comfortable with a bit of unpredictability, such as seasonal schedule changes or last-minute errands. We also need someone who can stay calm and composed in fast-paced situations and be flexible with occasional changes in the family's routines. Patience and a good sense of humor are important, especially when it comes to managing our children and dogs. Experience in household management, vendor coordination, meal prep, and pet care are key components for success in this role. You should be flexible, adaptable, and ready to pitch in where needed. Overall, we're seeking a reliable and detail-oriented person who can seamlessly integrate into our family's workflow, providing both structure and support.
