About Our Family:
We are a busy family of four living in Bolton, MA, with two children, ages 6 and 4. Both parents work full-time, with one parent working from home and the other traveling 2-3 times per month. We're looking for someone who can help us manage the household tasks so that by the time our kids are home from school, we can focus on spending quality time together. We deeply value the time we have with our kids, and our goal is to free up that time from the long list of household chores. We want to spend our evenings doing meaningful things with our family—whether that's playing, cooking together, or working as a team on chores—rather than feeling overwhelmed by the daily grind of tasks.
We're looking for someone who can build a genuine comfort level with our family, creating a relationship that works for all of us. We're a casual family who likes to joke around and keep things light. First impressions matter to us, and we want someone who feels like a true partner in helping us regain balance and joy in our routines. While childcare is not a primary responsibility for this role, if you become comfortably embedded in our home, there could be an opportunity to assist with childcare needs as part of your support.
Who You Are:
You are a proactive, self-starter who enjoys helping families bring joy and balance back into their routines. You understand the importance of freeing up time for the things that matter most and are excited to be part of a family's efforts to prioritize quality time together. Whether it's organizing, meal prep, or managing errands, you know how to anticipate needs and take care of tasks efficiently and thoughtfully. You have a calm, respectful demeanor and are comfortable with a casual, fun environment. You understand that tasks like meal prep and laundry aren't just chores, but ways to help the family make the most of their time together. First impressions matter to us, and we're looking for someone who is not only organized and responsible but also has a professional and respectful attitude.
