About Our Family
This home is warm, busy, and real—there's a lot of life happening here, and the goal is for it to feel calmer, lighter, and more supported week to week. The household includes two adults and a middle-school-aged child. The family has had consistent household support for years and truly values what the right person can bring: order, peace of mind, and the feeling that the home is running smoothly without constant direction.
A typical day has a steady rhythm—school starts early and afternoons are active—so the home works best when someone is thoughtfully maintaining it in the background: staying ahead of laundry, keeping bathrooms and floors truly clean, resetting the “drop zones” that accumulate clutter, and making sure the household doesn't slowly drift into chaos. Think of this role as part household manager, part "chaos coordinator"—someone who can anticipate needs, keep things running smoothly, and create order before small tasks become bigger problems. The biggest need is someone who can see what needs to be done, take ownership, and follow through—without the family needing to create checklists, hover, or re-check work.
This is a home where humor and personality are part of everyday life, but so is professionalism. There's a work-from-home environment at times, so the right fit will be naturally considerate—able to “read the room,” time louder tasks appropriately, and communicate clearly if something needs attention or a decision.
Who You Are / What We're Looking For
This role is a great fit for someone who genuinely enjoys creating order and keeping a home running well—someone who finds satisfaction in consistency, strong routines, and noticing the small things before they become big things. The ideal candidate is self-directed and proactive: once the household flow is learned, tasks are handled confidently and independently, with pride in doing things thoroughly (not halfway).
You take ownership of the details that keep family life running smoothly, whether that means staying ahead of laundry, maintaining organization systems, meal prepping, completing thorough weekly cleaning, resetting high-traffic areas, rotating linens, or finding better solutions for spaces that have become cluttered or inefficient. You have a natural “see it, solve it” mindset and enjoy creating systems that make a home function more effectively.
A warm, steady presence matters here. This home will feel best with someone who is kind, positive, and comfortable around children, with the judgment to step in when needed and step back when not. Communication is also key: the family appreciates direct, respectful feedback and wants someone who will ask questions, flag issues early, and speak up when something would work better another way. The right person won't wait to be managed—instead, they take full ownership of their responsibilities ensuring the home consistently feels calm, cared for , and well-maintained.
