About the Role:
Join Storybrooke Preschool Academy as a Housekeeper/Custodian, where you play a vital role in creating a clean and safe environment for our young learners. We are looking for a dedicated individual who takes pride in their work and is excited to contribute to our nurturing atmosphere.
Responsibilities:
- Perform daily cleaning and sanitization of classrooms, restrooms, and common areas.
- Maintain cleanliness of outdoor play areas and equipment.
- Restock supplies such as paper towels, soap, and cleaning materials.
- Report maintenance issues and safety hazards to management promptly.
- Follow established cleaning procedures and safety protocols.
- Assist with setup and breakdown for special events and activities.
- Ensure all cleaning equipment is properly maintained and stored.
- Work collaboratively with staff to support a positive learning environment.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Previous experience in custodial or housekeeping roles is a plus.
- Knowledge of cleaning chemicals and supplies.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
- Flexible schedule and availability for occasional evenings or weekends.
- Positive attitude and a commitment to maintaining a safe environment.

Compensation: $15.00 - $17.00 per hour
