Housekeeper (Remote) — Winnemucca, NV
We are seeking a reliable Housekeeper for rotational, site-based work at a remote mining camp in the Winnemucca, NV region. This is a 150-person occupancy camp.
If you take pride in cleanliness, follow procedures, and help keep the camp running safely and smoothly, we want to hear from you.

Basics
- Clean and sanitize camp facilities to established standards (crew/guest accommodations, washrooms, common areas)
- Perform routine cleaning tasks such as sweeping, mopping, sanitizing, and restocking supplies
- Disinfect high-touch surfaces using approved products and methods
- Maintain assigned rooms/areas and complete cleaning checklists as required
- Support laundry/linen handling duties as assigned (sorting, washing, folding, and restocking)
- Remove waste and ensure proper disposal practices
- Follow Matrix housekeeping procedures and always work in a safety-first, team-first manner
Requirements
- Previous housekeeping and/or sanitation experience preferred
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow cleaning protocols
- Comfortable working efficiently in a remote camp environment
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift light-to-moderate items as needed
- Ability to work rotational schedules in remote conditions
- Willingness to complete any required site onboarding and training
Mine Site Safety & Compliance (MSHA / Nevada)
- MSHA certification is required
- Must comply with all applicable mine safety and health requirements, including MSHA regulations (30 CFR) and site-specific safety orientation/training
- PPE and site rules are required (site-provided during onboarding)
- Reference and criminal record checks will be completed
- Some sites may require pre-access drug screening and/or fitness-for-duty clearance
Preference
- Preference will be given to local candidates (or those with proximity) in the Winnemucca, NV region.
Employment Eligibility
- Must be legally permitted to work in the United States
- Matrix will comply with all applicable U.S. employment verification requirements (I-9)
Job Details
- Job Type: Full-time, Seasonal (Rotational)
- Rotation: 3 weeks on / 3 weeks off
