Job Description
Are you looking for a rewarding housekeeping position in a community-focused environment? Join our team at The Converse Home an assisted living community in Burlington. The Converse Home is renowned for its warm, welcoming, and home-like atmosphere. As a part-time Housekeeper, you will play an essential role in creating a comfortable and healthy living space for residents. We are looking for someone to work 32 hours a week Monday through Friday.
Key Responsibilities:
- Daily Cleaning: Perform routine cleaning tasks in resident apartments, common areas, and facility spaces, including dusting, sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and sanitizing surfaces.
- Trash Removal: Collect and dispose of trash and recycling from resident apartments and common areas daily.
- Restroom Cleaning: Clean and disinfect restrooms, ensuring they are well-stocked with supplies.
- Health and Safety Compliance: Follow proper cleaning protocols and safety guidelines to minimize the spread of germs and maintain a safe environment for residents and staff.
- Occasionally perform laundry duties
- Resident Interaction: Provide excellent customer service to residents by respecting their privacy and accommodating their preferences when possible.
- Team Collaboration: Work closely with other housekeeping and maintenance staff to address facility needs and report any concerns, such as maintenance issues or safety hazards.
Requirements:
- Experience: Previous housekeeping or custodial experience is preferred but not required.
- Skills: Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. Ability to follow instructions and prioritize tasks efficiently.
- Physical Requirements: Ability to stand, bend, lift (up to 30 pounds), and perform repetitive movements for extended periods.
- Personality Traits: Friendly, respectful and empathetic towards residents and staff.

- Team-oriented and dependable.
- Other Requirements:
- Must pass a background check.
