Description

Carteret Management Corporation is seeking to fill 2 HOUSEKEEPER / PORTER roles responsible for the cleaning and housekeeping of apartment communities both located in downtown Jacksonville, FL in accordance with the Company's values of communication, customer service and competency. This position offers full-time employment with a strong benefit package (including health, dental, vision, disability and ancillary insurance options, 401k, auto-allowance and paid holiday + vacation+ personal time).

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Work to ensure the highest level of resident satisfaction at all times.
  • Perform such functions as clearing debris from grounds, cleaning office and common areas.
  • Assist in the preparation of market ready units, including remove trash from vacant apartments (trash outs) prior to make-ready.
  • Requisition housekeeping supplies as needed.
  • Perform other general janitorial duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Excellent customer service skills.
  • Prior custodial experience preferred.
  • Ability to perform general custodial duties.
  • Ability to handle multiple priorities.
  • Ability to operate machinery and equipment necessary to perform the porter's duties including: backpack vacuum, pressure washer, hand blower, etc.
  • Ability to work cooperatively and effectively with various groups (on-site staff, vendors, residents).
