What would you do?

As a Housekeeper at Legacy Living Defiance, you will play a crucial role in maintaining a safe, sanitary, and comfortable environment for our residents, staff, and visitors. Your responsibilities will include daily cleaning of assigned resident rooms, bathrooms, and common areas while ensuring residents' privacy is always upheld. You will sweep and clean rugs, carpets, upholstered furniture, and draperies while dusting furniture, handrails, and various equipment. Additionally, you will wash windows and door panels, empty wastebaskets, and transport them to disposal areas. In the laundry segment of your role, you will be responsible for picking up, transporting, and laundering personal clothing and bed linens, operating laundry equipment as per manufacturer instructions.

With attention to detail, you will carefully hang, bag, fold, and bundle laundry for delivery to residents, always maintaining proper separation between soiled and clean items. This position is essential for fostering a welcoming and homelike atmosphere within our community.
