Position: Housekeeping & Public Area - Hotel Indigo El Paso, TX

Job Description:

The Public Areas Attendant is responsible for the cleaning and upkeep of all lobby, mezzanine, and back of the house public areas.

Required Skills and Requisites:

• Must have strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Service orientation. Knowledge of principles and processes for providing customer and personal services.
• Must be able to multi-task.
• Previous housekeeping experience preferred.
• Must be available to work Weekends and Holidays.

Responsibilities and Duties:

• Clean all restrooms in assigned area.
• Clean and polish all mirrors.
• Ensure paper products are well stocked.
• Check facilities throughout the day for cleanliness and supplies.
• Clean all offices in assigned areas.
• Clean Front Office area.
• Clean back of the house offices.
• Empty trash and recycled material into proper receptacles

• Vacuum floors and dust furniture.
• Clean elevators, including walls, polish stainless steel, clean mirrors, & mop floors.

• Answer guests questions according to Housekeeping and Front Office directions.
• Clean all miscellaneous rooms in assigned area.
• Ensure that Lobby/Rooms/Public areas are clean and appearance meets cleanliness standards.
• Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor.
