Job Overview
The Housekeeping Attendant is responsible for maintaining the cleanliness, appearance, and overall presentation of the Club's facilities to ensure a welcoming, safe, and comfortable environment for members, guests, and staff. This role plays a critical part in upholding the Club's standards by cleaning and sanitizing interior spaces, restrooms, and common areas. The ideal candidate is dependable, detail-oriented, and committed to maintaining a high level of cleanliness and professionalism in a private club setting.
Key Responsibilities
Cleaning and Facility Maintenance
Clean and maintain all assigned areas, including clubhouses, dining areas, offices, restrooms, hallways, and common areas.
Sweep, mop, vacuum, and dust floors, carpets, furniture, and fixtures.
Clean and sanitize restrooms, including toilets, sinks, mirrors, counters, and floors.
Empty trash receptacles and replace liners.
Clean windows, glass doors, and mirrors to maintain a polished appearance.
Replenish supplies such as paper towels, toilet paper, soap, and other restroom items.
Club Presentation and Standards
Ensure all areas of the Club are clean, organized, and presentable at all times.
Identify and report maintenance issues, safety hazards, or needed repairs to management.
Maintain cleaning equipment and supplies in proper working order.
Follow all Club cleanliness and sanitation standards.
Operational Support
Assist with cleaning and preparation before and after club events and functions.
Set up and break down areas as needed to support club operations.
Work cooperatively with all departments to ensure member satisfaction.
Follow all safety procedures when using cleaning chemicals and equipment.
Professional Standards
Maintain professionalism and courtesy when interacting with members and guests.
Respect member privacy and maintain confidentiality.
Follow all Club policies and procedures.
Maintain reliable attendance and punctuality.
Qualifications
Prior housekeeping, janitorial, or cleaning experience preferred
Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness
Ability to work independently and efficiently
Ability to follow instructions and safety procedures
Dependable and punctual with a strong work ethic
Ability to work flexible hours, including mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays
