Housekeeping Hiring Event Tuesday, March 31st 10AM-1PM Lakewood Retirement Community: 1900 Lauderdale Drive, Richmond VA (Health Services Building)
SEEKING FULL-TIME HOUSEKEEPERS AND PART-TIME LAUNDRY TECHS
- Must be available to work rotating weekends
- Schedule is 7AM-3:30PM
- Housekeeping experience within Healthcare or Hospitality strongly preferred
- Pay between $16.00/hour-$18.00/hour based on years of experience
- Read, write, and comprehend English
- Must pass criminal background check

Job Requirements
- Capable of standing and walking throughout the workday
- Able to work rotating weekends.
- Willingness to perform routine, repetitive tasks and ability to regulate and maintain workflow
- Pleasant personality and patience exhibited while interacting with residents, guests, and team members
- Ability to read, write, communicate, and comprehend English
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Participates in on-going visual evaluation of the cleanliness of the facility and addresses any needed areas.
- Maintains an ample supply of cleaning materials and necessary equipment in a neat and readily accessible manner
- Checks equipment daily for proper functioning; reports all malfunctions or damage according to department policy
- Maintains appropriate logs and records in a timely and accurate fashion
- Complies with infection control, hazardous waste removal, safety and all other company regulations, guidelines, and policies
