Job Summary:
The Myriad Hotel is looking to hire a diligent and detail-oriented Housekeeping Room Attendant to join our team. The Housekeeping Room Attendant is responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and overall appearance of guest rooms and ensuring a comfortable and welcoming environment for the guests.
Responsibilities:
- Clean and prepare guest rooms to the highest standards of cleanliness, including making beds, dusting, vacuuming, and sanitizing surfaces.
- Perform thorough bathroom cleaning.
- Vacuum and/or mop floors in guest rooms and common areas.
- Handle guest requests for extra amenities.
- Report any maintenance issues or damage observed in guest rooms.
- Collaborate with other housekeeping team members to ensure efficient and timely completion of tasks.
- Maintain a professional and courteous demeanor when interacting with guests, addressing their concerns or requests promptly and courteously.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Prior experience in a housekeeping or similar role is preferred.
- Excellent attention to detail and thoroughness in cleaning tasks.
- Ability to work independently and efficiently with minimal supervision.
- Strong time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
- Good physical stamina and ability to perform repetitive tasks, including lifting and carrying heavy objects.
- Flexibility to work different shifts, including weekends and holidays.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Knowledge of safety and sanitation practices in a hospitality setting.
- Ability to maintain a high level of professionalism and discretion.
- Positive attitude and a commitment to providing exceptional guest experiences.
