Job Description:
Perform supervisory duties in the care, cleaning, and general housekeeping of Agency buildings and/or residences.
Essential Responsibilities:
- Recruit, supervise, coach, evaluate, and monitor assigned direct reports and ensure staff are following Agency/Department policies and procedures.
- Train housekeeping staff, as requested, in the use of cleaning solvents, chemicals and equipment so they can respond appropriately to cleaning/contamination issues as they arise.
- Maintain quality standards to ensure compliance with state licensing and operating standards.
- Perform housekeeping service work to meet specific performance obligations.
- Partner with Maintenance Manager to manage inventory and ensure adequate supplies.
- Report and initiate actions, immediately, to correct any noted cross-contamination issues or problems.
- Partner with Maintenance Manager(s) and staff to ensure quality housekeeping and maintenance of assigned facility(ies).
- Ensure proper maintenance and care of housekeeping equipment.
- Report safety and repair issues to property maintenance department.
- Communicate with contractors as requested.
- Attend staff meeting and in-service training as assigned.
Qualifications:
- High School education or GED
- Three (3) to five (5) years' experience working in housekeeping or related field
- Two (2) years supervisory experience preferred
- Excellent organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
Hours: This is a full-time, 40 hour/week position. Monday - Friday 1st shift
Compensation: $20.00 hourly.
