Job Description

The Housekeeping Tech is responsible for keeping our facilities clean, safe, and looking great!

Housekeeping Techs have contact with other employees, visitors, and patients, and need to have good communication skills. They also must follow safety and infection control policies and procedures at all times. It is important that they practice confidentiality concerning patients, employees and the public at all times.

Housekeeping Tech Key Responsibilities:

  • Clean & disinfect public areas, restrooms, offices and exam rooms
  • Trash & Recycling collection
  • Floor care (vacuuming/extracting/sweeping/moping)
  • Dusting
  • Cleaning of glass
  • Maintaining equipment and storage/supply areas
  • Assist in other areas as requested

Hours/Shifts

56 hours biweekly with shifts from 5:00pm-10:30pm, Monday to Friday, at Morris Medical Center.

Compensation

Hourly Wage Range: $15.94-$22.25 and a $3.05 shift differential when working straight PM shifts. Please note that final compensation will be determined based on experience, qualifications and internal equity considerations.
