  • Pitch story ideas that appeal to tech enthusiasts and hobbyists
  • Clearly explain technical concepts to a broad audience
  • Meet deadlines and maintain consistent output

What We’re Looking For

  • Proven experience writing about technology (published samples required)
  • Interest or hands-on familiarity with hobbyist or DIY tech topics
  • Strong ability to explain complex ideas clearly and engagingly
  • Comfortable writing on a regular cadence
  • Open to editorial guidance and headline optimization

Application Requirements

  • CV
  • Cover Letter
    • In your cover letter, please address the following questions:
      • Why do you want to write for How-to Geek?
      • What makes you the right fit for this role? (You can touch upon previous experience and your passion for DIY tech)
