HPC - Senior Software Engineer - Linux, Bash, Java

We are seeking engineers who wish to grow their careers and want to become part of a technically strong and growth-oriented company focused on bringing innovative solutions to the difficult mission problems facing our customers.Description We are seeking a Software Engineer who shall be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining tools and services in support of CLEVERCHEMIST’s suite of products such as GitLab, Artifactory, MinIO, GitLab Runner, Jupyter and SPARTANDESK (Linux virtual desktop). The Software Engineer shall work closely with cross-functional teams including software developers, system administrators, project managers, and mission customers to deliver seamless integrations that enhance productivity and streamline workflows.Clearance A current Top-Secret/SCI with polygraph security clearance is required. Candidates cannot be sponsored or nominated for a government security clearance under this position.Experience Master’s degree in computer science or related discipline from an accredited college or university, plus three (3) years of experience as a SWE, in programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity or bachelor’s degree in computer science or related discipline from an accredited college or university, plus five (5) years of experience as a SWE, in programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity or seven (7) years of experience as a SWE, in programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity. Required skills:

• Experience using the Linux CLI and Linux Tools
• Experience writing Bash/Python/PHP scripts to automate administrative tasks and workflows
• Extensive software development experience with Java
• Experience using an integrated development environment such as the Atlassian plugin software developer kit (SDK)
• Experience with IaC principles and automation tools such as Ansible
• Experience creating documentation of configurations, procedures, and system changes
• Experience with CI/CD principles, methodologies, and tools such as GitLab CI
• Experience with containerization technologies such as Docker
• Experience with Git for source code management, branching strategies, and team collaboration

Desired skills:

• Experience with the Atlassian Tool Suite (JIRA, Confluence)
• Experience with sustaining mission applications deployed in a Linux environment
• Experience with interacting/training external customers
