Required Qualifications
- Top Secret clearance with poly (Non-Negotiable)
- B.S. degree in a technical discipline
- DoD 8570 IAT II level certification (Security +, CompTIA CySA+, CCNA)
- Three years of demonstrable system administration experience, or eight years of experience in lieu of a degree.
*NOTE – Our positions require a Top Secret clearance, as well as the favorable completion of a polygraph. Applicants must be authorized to work in the U.S. We are unable to sponsor an employment Visa.
What You’ll Be Doing (We don’t love the bullet points, but we love the work!)
As the System Administrator, you'll get to support High Performance Computing (HPC) sustainment across multi-vendor servers, HPC clusters, and SPD servers. Responsibilities include IT system administration, Tier 1 and Tier 2 support, daily operations, troubleshooting, monitoring, OS and network configuration, system optimization, and capacity planning. Maintain HPC clusters, and specialized processing environments. You'll have the opportunity to grow your technical expertise alongside highly skilled engineers, collaborate with exceptional teammates, and directly contribute to missions that strengthen our nation's security. You'll also end your day knowing that you're doing work that truly matters!Required Skills - IT Systems Support and Administration:
- Provide implementation, troubleshooting, and maintenance support for IT systems.
- Troubleshoot, maintain, and configure network components.
- Implement operating system enhancements to improve reliability and performance. Performance, Optimization, and Capacity Planning
- Optimize system operations and resource utilization.
- Perform system storage capacity analysis and planning.
- Configure and manage Linux, Unix, Windows, and other applicable operating systems.
- Install and load operating system software.
- Manage daily configuration and operation of IT systems.
- Support day-to-day operations, monitoring, and problem resolution for client, server, storage, network, and mobile devices.
- Escalate issues and communicate status updates to agency management and internal customers. Operating Systems and Infrastructure Management
