Job Description
Temporary Human Resources Assistant
Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PMPay Rate: $20.00/hourAssignment Type: Temporary / Short-Term
Location: Greensboro, NC
We are seeking a detail-oriented Temporary Human Resources Assistant to support our client in Greensboro in their HR department during a short-term assignment. This role will assist with a variety of administrative and compliance-related HR functions and is ideal for someone with previous HR experience and strong computer skills.
Responsibilities:
- Review and process PTO and time-off requests
- Assist with employee benefits administration and audits
- Conduct I-9 and personnel file audits to ensure compliance
- Review employee records for accuracy and completeness
- Maintain confidential HR documents and information
- Support general HR administrative tasks and special projects
- Assist with data entry, reporting, and recordkeeping
- Ensure compliance with company policies and employment regulations
Qualifications:
- Previous Human Resources experience preferred
- Experience with Paycom
- Advanced computer skills, including Microsoft Office applications
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to handle confidential information professionally
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities
