HR AssistantLocation: Lackawanna, NYPay: $22.00–$25.00/hour, depending on experienceSchedule: Monday–Friday, 8: 00 AM–4: 30 PM | Some flexibility availableJoin a Growing HR Team! We are seeking a detail-oriented and tech-savvy HR Assistant to support our Human Resources team with onboarding, recruiting coordination, new hire orientation, and day-to-day administrative responsibilities.This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys working with people, using technology, staying organized, and helping create a positive employee experience. You’ll serve as an important point of contact for candidates and new employees while ensuring the hiring and onboarding process runs smoothly.What You'll Do
- Coordinate and support the new hire onboarding process.
- Set up tablets and electronic systems for safety training and onboarding.
- Assist employees with basic technical questions related to onboarding and training systems.
- Guide new hires through electronic paperwork and ensure required documentation is completed accurately.
- Monitor onboarding progress and follow up on outstanding items.
- Contact applicants to schedule interviews, drug screens, orientations, and other pre-employment requirements.
- Maintain regular communication with candidates throughout the hiring process.
- Maintain accurate employee records and confidential HR files.
- Coordinate new hire orientations and training sessions.
- Answer employee questions and connect them with the appropriate HR team member.
- Provide general administrative and data-entry support to the HR department.
- Handle sensitive and confidential information professionally.
- $22.00–$25.00/hour, based on experience
