- * Manage full-cycle employee onboarding and offboarding processes
- * Maintain employee records and HRIS systems
- * Administer employee benefits including enrollments, changes, and renewals
- * Serve as primary contact for employee relations questions and support
- * Assist with performance management and disciplinary documentation
- * Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local labor laws and construction industry regulations
- * Maintain company policies, employee handbook, and HR procedures
- * Coordinate training, certifications, and safety compliance documentation
- * Support recruiting efforts including job postings, candidate screening, and interview coordination
- * Process weekly payroll for field and office employees
- * Track and verify timecards, job costing codes, and overtime compliance
- * Manage payroll deductions including benefits, garnishments, and taxes
- * Coordinate with accounting regarding labor cost reporting and reconciliation
- * Maintain payroll records and ensure confidentiality and compliance
- * Assist with year-end payroll reporting including W-2 preparation and audits
- * Oversee daily office operations and administrative processes
- * Manage office supplies, vendors, and service contracts
- * Support project teams with administrative needs
- * Maintain company licenses, registrations, and insurance documentation
- * Assist leadership with reporting, scheduling, and internal communications
- * Coordinate company meetings, events, and training sessions
- * Spanish bilingual highly preferred
- * 3+ years of experience in HR, payroll, office management, or related role
- * Experience working in construction, trades, or similar field environment preferred
- * Proficiency in payroll and HR software systems
- * Strong organizational and multitasking skills
- * High attention to detail and confidentiality
- * Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- * Primarily office-based with regular interaction with field personnel
- * Fast-paced environment supporting multiple active construction projects
