Job Description

Position Summary

The HR Coordinator provides hands-on administrative and operational support across core human resources functions, including recruiting, onboarding, HRIS transactions, and payroll coordination. This role supports the Director of Human Resources by ensuring HR processes are executed accurately, timely, and in compliance with company policies and applicable laws. The HR Coordinator serves as a primary point of contact for employees and managers on routine HR and Employee Self-Service (ESS) inquiries and plays a critical role in maintaining data integrity and operational continuity.

  • Assist with full-cycle recruiting activities, including posting positions, coordinating interviews, and preparing and sending offer letters.
  • Initiate and monitor background screenings and pre-employment checks in accordance with company policy.
  • Coordinate and execute new hire onboarding, including preparing onboarding documentation and system access.
  • Complete and process Form I-9 and employment eligibility verification in compliance with federal requirements.
  • Perform transactional HR processes within the HRIS including data entry, status changes, job updates, and document uploads.
  • Monitor employee timesheets for completeness and accuracy on designated payroll processing days (typically Mondays).
  • Communicate with managers regarding payroll-related updates, corrections, and deadlines to ensure timely and accurate payroll processing.
  • Assist employees with Employee Self-Service (ESS) questions and system navigation support.
  • Maintain accurate and confidential employee records in compliance with data privacy and retention requirements.
  • Support HR audits, reporting requests, and compliance documentation as needed.
  • Provide administrative support for HR initiatives, projects, and process improvements.
  • Maintain consistent, regular, and predictable attendance in accordance with the company's Attendance and Punctuality Policy; regular attendance is an essential function of this position due to payroll, onboarding, and operational support responsibilities.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned that are consistent with the nature and scope of the position.
