Responsibilities
- Assist with the recruitment process, including posting jobs, scheduling interviews, conducting reference checks, and coordinating onboarding activities.
- Prepare and maintain employee files and HR records while ensuring confidentiality and compliance.
- Support new hire orientation and onboarding processes.
- Assist with benefits administration, enrollment changes, and employee inquiries.
- Process employment-related documentation, including status changes, terminations, and performance-related records.
- Maintain HR databases, reports, and personnel records.
- Coordinate employee training, development programs, and company events.
- Respond to employee questions regarding policies, procedures, and HR programs.
- Assist with payroll processing and timekeeping administration as needed.
- Support HR initiatives related to employee engagement, retention, and compliance.
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and company employment regulations.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field preferred.
- Minimum of 1-3 years of Human Resources, recruiting, or administrative experience preferred.
- Knowledge of HR principles, employment laws, and best practices.
- Experience with HRIS systems and Microsoft Office applications.
- Strong organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail.
- Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
- Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with professionalism.
- Strong time management skills and ability to prioritize multiple tasks.
- HR certification (PHR, SHRM-CP, or equivalent) is a plus.
- Experience supporting recruiting, onboarding, benefits administration, or payroll functions.
- Experience in a fast-paced corporate, healthcare, manufacturing, or professional services environment.
