Join our team in Augusta, Maine, as an HR Assistant and provide vital support during our busiest season. As an HR Assistant, you’ll ensure smooth daily operations by managing critical documentation and reporting. You’ll work closely with the HR team to deliver results that keep our workforce supported and compliant.What You’ll Do:

• Manage Workers' Comp paperwork and follow up on employee restrictions.* *
• Oversee absence management by processing paperwork and reports in a new system.* *
• Run payroll reports and assist with FMLA administration.* *
• Support Benefits Open Enrollment by obtaining and organizing required documentation.* *
• Maintain accurate data and provide timely follow-ups on HR tasks.

What You’ll Bring:

• Tech Savvy: Intermediate to Advanced Microsoft Word and Excel skills are a must.* *
• Proactive Mindset: Ability to jump in and help without a lot of direction.* *
• Experience: Familiarity with Payroll, Workers' Comp, or FMLA; ADP experience is a plus.* *
• Communication: Strong interpersonal skills to handle employee inquiries professionally.
