Edenbrook Lakeside is a skilled nursing facility located in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, as part of the Eden Senior Care network. We are looking for a dedicated HR Generalist to become a valued member of our compassionate and skilled team. The HR Generalist will assist with a wide range of HR functions including hiring support, employee relations, training coordination, performance processes, and policy administration. This position requires strong communication skills, professionalism, and the ability to manage sensitive information with discretion.
Core Responsibilities
- Coordinate and manage recruitment efforts, including sourcing, interviewing, and onboarding
- Support leadership and staff with HR-related inquiries and workplace matters
- Maintain and update HR policies, procedures, and documentation
- Assist with employee engagement initiatives and retention strategies
- Help administer performance evaluations and related programs
- Oversee compliance with HR regulations and workplace standards
- Coordinate training sessions and identify development opportunities
- Prepare HR reports, metrics, and documentation for leadership
- Contribute to maintaining a positive, collaborative workplace culture
Requirement
- Proven HR Generalist experience within a Skilled Nursing Facility.
- Strong background in recruitment and full‑cycle hiring
- Familiarity with HR software, reporting tools, and recordkeeping
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and problem‑solving skills
- Strong understanding of HR regulations and best practices
- Ability to work effectively with employees at all levels of the organization
