Job Description
If you’re an HR Generalist who:
Gets bored doing the same thing every day
Wants autonomy without being on an island
Enjoys rolling up your sleeves and thinking strategically
Likes building real relationships with leaders and employees
You might have just found your next home.
At HR Value Partners, we provide hands-on, fractional HR support to small and mid-sized organizations that don’t have internal HR. Our Generalists do real HR work every day. You will personally handle a meaningful amount of hands-on HR while also owning bigger-picture direction for your clients.
This role blends execution, problem-solving, and consulting. It is dynamic, fast-moving, and designed for people who want variety, ownership, and continuous growth.
What Your Day-to-Day Actually Looks Like
You will personally perform both hands-on HR work and higher-level consulting for your clients.
This is not a “pure strategy” role.
You will be in the weeds when needed handling employee relations, documentation, policy updates, employee questions, and compliance-related tasks. You will also step back to identify trends, risks, and improvement opportunities.
You will support up to 6 client companies. You will have:
A shared client-facing HR Administrator
An internal sourcing/admin support team for overflow work
Other Generalists who serve as thought partners and backups
You will personally perform a meaningful portion of the work. You will also leverage support when volume spikes or projects require extra capacity. Ownership of the work and outcomes ultimately sits with you.
Expect roughly 12 onsite client days per month, with the remainder remote, plus regular phone and email support.
The Work You’ll Personally Perform and Own

We aim to maintain a “small business” feel even as we grow. We collaborate, support each other, and care about doing good work.
You’re Likely a Great Fit If You Have
Bachelor’s degree in HR, Business, or related field
Minimum 3+ years HR Generalist experience (manufacturing experience a plus)
HR Certification (PHR, SHRM-CP, or similar)
Strong working knowledge of the full employment lifecycle
Excellent communication and writing skills
