Job Description:

Client is seeking a Bilingual (Spanish) HR Generalist to join their growing manufacturing plant. This role is backfilling a critical HR position and is essential to maintaining a stable, positive, and high-performing workforce. The ideal candidate will be hands-on, flexible, and able to support both administrative HR duties and high-volume recruiting efforts.

Key Responsibilities

• Recruiting & Onboarding (~50% of time):
• • Conduct high-volume recruiting, job postings, candidate screening, interviews, and new hire orientation
  • Coordinate with staffing agencies to maintain candidate flow
  • Manage workforce stability in a fast-paced environment where retention can be challenging
• Administrative & HR Support (~50% of time):
• • Assist with employee relations, corrective actions, and investigations
  • Support supervisors with HR processes and documentation
  • Prepare weekly reports for the Plant Manager, including headcount, birthdays, anniversaries, and turnover metrics
  • Lead or support employee engagement initiatives, communications, and newsletters
  • Maintain accurate HRIS records (Paylocity experience preferred; SAP knowledge a plus)
• Provide coverage for other HR functions as needed, especially during the absence of the HR Supervisor

Candidate Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, or related field
• 5+ years of HR Generalist experience, preferably in a manufacturing or plant environment
• Fluent in Spanish (able to handle employee relations and communications with Spanish-speaking employees)
• Strong Excel and reporting skills; comfortable preparing weekly metrics
• Experience in high-volume recruiting and onboarding
• Ability to handle multi-tasking, fast-paced environments, and high-stress situations
• Familiarity with Paylocity preferred; SAP knowledge helpful but not required

Work Environment:

• Full-time, onsite at a large manufacturing plant (~350 employees)
• Non-union workforce
• Fast-paced and growing due to new contracts with additional manufacturers
